DMX started rapping around the late 1990s. He debuted his debut album It's Hot and Hell is DARK on the 19th of May, 1998. Over the years he released several other albums including ... And then There Was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Again the Redemption of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Blood Flesh. His album titled...And It was X was nominated by the Grammy award for Best Rap Album in 2001. His career in music was enhanced by appearances in films as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded Never Die Alone - The Bleeding Romeo must die Backstage - Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
